01About

About US360

US360 is a trusted knowledge platform dedicated to helping people understand life in the United States through practical, reliable, and well-maintained educational content.

US360 publishes research-backed guides, interactive tools, learning paths, state-by-state resources, and downloadable checklists covering living, working, studying, travelling, investing, and building a business in the United States. Every page is written in plain language, reviewed on a fixed schedule, and maintained with a visible review status so readers always know how current the information is.

Mission

To help people anywhere in the world understand every practical aspect of life in the United States through clear, accurate, and continuously maintained educational content.

Vision

To become the most trusted independent knowledge platform about the United States — a complete ecosystem spanning Learn, News, Jobs, Business, Travel, Tools, and Community.

Editorial philosophy

Reader-first, evidence-based, and politically neutral. We explain how systems actually work, we cite primary sources such as government agencies and institutions, and we keep editorial decisions fully independent from commercial relationships.

Brand promise

Every US360 page states what it covers, when it was last reviewed, and where the information came from. If we cannot verify something, we do not publish it.

Core values

Accuracy
Facts are verified against primary sources before publication and re-checked on a review schedule.
Clarity
Complex systems are explained in plain language, without jargon or assumed local knowledge.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by editors alone. Sponsorship never buys coverage or influence.
Practicality
Every guide ends with something the reader can act on: a checklist, a tool, or a next step.
Inclusivity
We write for newcomers and long-term residents alike, in language accessible to non-native readers.
Transparency
Authorship, review dates, source lists, and commercial disclosures are visible on the page.

02Story

Brand Story

  1. 01

    Why US360 exists

Information about living in America is scattered across hundreds of agency websites, forums, and outdated blog posts. Newcomers spend weeks assembling answers that should take minutes, and often act on advice that is years out of date. US360 was created to consolidate that knowledge into one maintained, plain-language reference.

  2. 02

    Who we serve

People moving to, working in, studying in, visiting, or investing in the United States — plus the professionals, institutions, and employers who support them.

  3. 03

    What makes US360 different

A published editorial policy and style guide, a visible review status on every page, interactive tools rather than static text, and a structured knowledge architecture that connects guides, states, tools, and downloads instead of isolated articles.

  4. 04

    Long-term vision

US360 is built as a seven-pillar ecosystem — Learn, News, Jobs, Business, Travel, Tools, and Community — with the homepage as the gateway to each pillar.

  5. 05

    Editorial principles

Verify before publishing, cite primary sources, date every claim, separate fact from guidance, disclose all commercial relationships, and correct errors openly.

Paragraph spacing

20px between paragraphs, 40px above headings, 72-character measure.

06Visual

Visual Style

Calm, editorial, and information-first. Imagery supports comprehension; it never decorates for its own sake.

Photography
Real, documentary-style scenes of everyday American life. Natural light, honest colour, wide establishing crops. No staged stock handshakes, no heavy filters, no patriotic clichés.
Illustration
Editorial vector illustration with flat navy/blue fields, one red accent maximum, and generous negative space. Used for abstract topics such as taxes or privacy.
Icons
Lucide outline set, 1.5px stroke, 20–24px, always paired with a text label. Icons never carry meaning alone.
Infographics & charts
One idea per graphic. Chart palette runs navy → bright blue → red, with tabular figures and a stated source and date beneath every chart.
Maps
State maps use a navy-to-blue sequential scale on a light gray base, with accessible labels and a text alternative for every interactive region.
Layout & spacing
12-column grid, 1280px max content width, section rhythm of 64/80/96px, and a 4px spacing base. Whitespace is a feature, not leftover space.
Cards, corners & shadows
12–16px radii, 1px hairline borders, and two elevation levels only: soft (resting) and lift (hover). No neon glows or double borders.
Buttons
Primary navy fill, secondary outline, tertiary text link with animated underline. Consistent 44px minimum hit area across breakpoints.
Motion
Purposeful and short: 350–750ms reveals on a (0.22, 1, 0.36, 1) curve, subtle 6px card lift, 4.5% image zoom. All motion respects prefers-reduced-motion.
